About Dr Mandana Master
I graduated with honours from the University of South Australia, and started my career as a pharmacist. After four years in this field, I realised that I was passionate about social justice and sexual equality and wanted to make a greater difference in women’s health.
I subsequently completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery through Flinders University. I continued my studies by accomplishing my specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Currently I hold a public appointment at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. My interests include all aspects of obstetrics and I have completed advanced training in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy) and urogynaecology including prolapse repair. I am also involved with inspiring and guiding the next generation of doctors through my clinical lecturer role at the University of Adelaide.
I am able to provide continuity of care for patients from my private practice at Burnside Women’s Health in Toorak Gardens, Adelaide. I feel it is an absolute privilege to share in a woman’s life journey from adolescence to motherhood and beyond, helping to optimise your health so that at each stage of life you can live it to its full potential.
